4 out of 5 stars Not a lot out there for Presta but this is good   June 3, 2010
Mark Evans (Cincinnati, OH)
I was looking for a small portable Presta pressure gauge without needing to use an adapter. This gauge is nice in that it holds the pressure reading until you clear it. At first I couldn't get a reading with it but learned you just have to press a little harder on the valve to get the reading.

5 out of 5 stars Handy little tool   May 25, 2010

I gotta say that I love this little gauge. It's great, you can feel that it is made with quality in mind. It is very sturdy and has some weight on it. I love the little air release valve, all you have to do is press it down to release air to get the exact psi you want on your tires. Forget digital seriously, if you want a trustworthy gauge go with the accugage you'll be pleasantly happy believe me. I'm an avid bike rider and I don't leave home without it. Ride safely

1 out of 5 stars couldn't get it to work   January 11, 2010

I have presta valves on my Trek 7.5 FX and in constant fear of over inflating the tubes. I hoped this gauge would relieve my anxiety. Well, it didn't. After numerous attempts I managed to get ONE reading on the front tire. My attempts to use it on the rear tire proved equally frustrating and ultimately unsuccessful. It may have been defective or a design fault. I returned it and will look for another gauge.

4 out of 5 stars An accurate, easy to use, durable pressure gauge   November 19, 2009
N. Graf (NY USA)
This gauge is sturdy and seems to be accurate. My only gripe is that the mark on the gauge for 100 p.s.i. (which I use most often) is difficult to read due to placement of a "rivet". Otherwise it's terrific.

5 out of 5 stars Durable, accurate, reliable   September 21, 2009

This is a great, sturdy little gauge for bicycle tires. I carry it in my under-seat pouch. The dial is much smaller than I expected, larger than a quarter, smaller than a half-dollar, and I say that as a positive thing! I understand there are rubber protective rings you can buy to go over the dial, but I have not been able to find one yet. Fortunately, the gauge seems sturdy enough that I haven't worried about it, though I'm careful not to drop it.

This is a fine addition to any cyclist's road pouch.
