Product Description
This compact and lightweight air compressor stores easily and is designed for light occassional use. It's ideal for inflating flat tires on the road, an air mattress while camping, or blowing up summer pool toys. The HV35's 140 PSI capacity and on-board pressure gauge are comparable to other higher-priced compressors. It provides 25 liters-per-minute of air through a 3-foot hose. The 5-foot power cord provides the freedom you need to inflate tires or other equipment. This compressor also includes adapters to inflate sports equipment and a convenient storage bag.

5 out of 5 stars Don't leave home without it!   September 1, 2010

This is a great little compressor. The air hose screws directly on to the valve for a leak free connection. The built in pressure gage avoids having to periodically disconnect the hose and check the pressure with a tire pressure gage, like I had to do with a portable compressor that I used to own. I have used this twice in the last year to inflate tires from completely flat to 40 psi in about 90 seconds. This allowed me to drive to the local tire shop w/o having to change the tire and install the doughnut. It also runs cool and quietly and comes with a nifty carrying case. It more than paid for itself, the first time that I used it.

4 out of 5 stars I like it.   August 19, 2010

Comes in a cute bag, perfect for a vehicle without a trunk (i.e. SUV, station wagon, hatch back). When the compressor is fully assembled it's slightly difficult to get into the bag but can be done.

The compressor is slower than what's at gas stations but it chugs along fine. Grab a soda and sit on the tire until it feels full.

I have not had this long enough yet to comment on durability, but performance per dollar this is much better than most of the cheapo air pumps, and it is also quieter. The storage bag is nice, and the air hose is shortish but the power cord is long enough to make up for it so long as your car isn't super long. The thread-on air chuck is very nice. I also have the larger model compressor by the same company (had it for several years) and it has been great so hopefully this one will provide a similar service life. For the price it delivers a good amount of air. The gauges on these things are never accurate so I didn't bother checking it yet.

I have only used the pump a few times and it worked very well. The guage is not very accurate so it is important to have a separate one. It would be good if it came with a way to hook directly to the battery. An adapter with alligator clips would be very useful since the cigarette lighters, in both of the cars with which I was working, did not work. Fortunately there were other connections in the back seat etc. Connecting directly to the battery would avoid such problems.

I have had no problems with this pump. Its a little slow compared to the one at the gas station, but thats fine because its just for emergency use. It also works great for high pressure bike tires.
