1 out of 5 stars not worth it   July 17, 2010

If you want a well made gauge, don't buy this one. Very cheap feel and looks, picture only looks good. Instruction say you can release tire pressure, but button at the bottom is only a fixed piece of plastic, it has no function at all. "SET Your Pressure" has no purpose, I assume it had something to with the pressure reading but it doesn't. Look for something else.

1 out of 5 stars Stopped working within a week   May 26, 2010
Scott M. Portis (Nashville, TN)
I purchased the myPSI for myself, and for gifts for the guys this Christmas. My unit stopped working after 1 session. Light works find (very, very bright), but pressure gauge will not take a reading (shows 0.0).

I do not recommend this unit. Will be returning mine if I can get it back for less than it cost originally.

I have not heard feedback from my family on their units but will report back if I do.

4 out of 5 stars good product   May 18, 2010

I haven't had a change to really use it yet, however, I tried it see how it works. The light makes a really big difference!

1 out of 5 stars I really liked it for the 1st 2 times   April 8, 2010

I really liked it the first two times I used it. It quick working on the third use. It would turn on, but wouldn't register tire pressure.

5 out of 5 stars Very Good PSI Digital Gauge   March 19, 2010
E. A. DiGiacomo (New Jersey, USA)
At first I was reluctant purchasing a digital PSI tire gauge after hearing the frustrating stories from my friends and reading many of the negative reviews from buyers who purchased digital gauges from assorted manufactures. I decided to take a chance; $8.00 isn't going to break-the-bank. After researching numerous reviews from different manufactures, I determined this particular model the Slime 5012 PSI My Digital Gauge was the best choice. Well, I can honestly say so far this thingamajig has performed flawlessly; PSI readings on all four (4) tires on three (3) of my vehicles have been precise. Checked PSI readings from the Slime then compared it with two (2) different manual gauges, then with the tire pressure sensors equipped with the vehicles. To my astonishment all PSI readings were accurate within 0.5 PSI. This test was completed seven (7) times on different days with the outside temperature varying from 38 degrees to 62 degrees. On one test I intentionally inflated one of the tires ten (10) pounds over the recommended PSI and the Slime thingamajig PSI reading was exact. This instrument is easy to use just push the on button to activate the gauge, firmly attach gauge to tire valve stem (works effortlessly the first time you try) then examine the PSI digital reading. If air must be removed there is an "air release nipple" on the other end of the gauge. If you don't hit the on button accidently you can take a second, third, fourth, et cetera readings without pushing the on button again. The LED light is a plus if you desire to check your tire(s) PSI in low light and if you forget to turn the contraption off, the LED light will automatically shut off after 90 seconds. So far this Slime digital gauge has made a believer out of me and would recommend this particular digital thingamajig to everyone.
