Solid So Far! August 31, 2010 Picky Pete (Pittsburgh, Pa) I have had this for, ohhhh I'd say a couple months now and never had to use it till yesterday. My mustang wouldn't crank over due to not being used often, so I whipped this bad boy out, hooked it up and walla... NOTHING.. I got a little worried, and re-checked the connections, and found my ground I was trying to ground to was not grounded(evidentally?) so, I found a better ground, cranked it up, and walla... fired right up. So, I would say at this point it seems well built, and works. NOW then, I dunno about paying the going rate for it posted on amazon, as I only paid sixty dollars out the door for it on here, BUT, I suppose there is a price anyone will be willing to pay for peace of mind. I say, if you don't have one, go ahead and buy it, maybe you will be lucky and never have to use it? It's nice to know though, its there IF you ever do.
Jump Starter August 30, 2010 Bill W. Great item at a great price. Bought one and like it, bought another one for my son's vehicle. Recommend one for your vehicle.
Bad Review for Delay in Shipping August 18, 2010 Greg 0 out of 13 found this review helpful
Ordered this item on 8/16. When I ordered, it said "In Stock" and is coming from Amazon, LLC so I should be able to count on that since its not from a small third party vendor.
After 2 days and no shipping confirmation email I check on-line and find that the "shipping estimate" is now 8/23 or a week after ordering. With transit time of another 4 or 5 days it can almost be 2 weeks till I receive it after ordering.
Yet when I check on-line it also says that since this order has entered the "shipping process" I cannot change or cancel. What on Gods Green Earth takes a week to "prepare for shipment"? If I knew it would be two weeks I just would have driven 20 minutes to sears and bought it there for a couple of dollars more. I'm buying this for a long road trip my daughter is going to be taking and now am concerned that it might not make it here in time.
The funny thing is that they say that it has entered the shipping process so that they can get it to me as quickly as possible. WTF?
Never Fails July 28, 2010 JoesBuys WoW Just plug in, to charge Your battery is dead. Use jump starter. Bam your car is started.
VERY GOOD PRICE. lITTLE HEAVY. BUT ALOT BETTER THAN USING jUMPER CABLES.
Heavy duty product July 23, 2010 Patricia Haywood (alabama usa) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have recently purchased this Jump Starter and I am extremely impressed by the sturdiness of the product and all the little applications it has. You only need a regular outside extention cord to charge it, no adapter to keep up with. That in itself is 5 stars. It has a DC adapter for the cigarette lighter but that is easily tied to the handle. Now if it will just jump my battery the once in a blue moon I will need it, it will have been well worth the money I paid for it.
