1 out of 5 stars TOO EXPENSIVE AND STILL LEAVES WATER SPOTS   September 6, 2010
Computer Geek
Not worth the cost; at a minimum of $1.00 per wash for ten washes that takes the cost of a wash for me to three dollars for everything..
The thing that wasn't expected was I STILL HAVE WATER SPOTS..
I did everything exactly as the directions stated; yet I still have water spots...
After reading on the internet - ALLOT. I decided and made my own water deionizer. Use Both types of DI-Reson. One to soften the water and the second stage to Dionize the water.
Know what? NO WATER SPOTS..
It cost me $200.00 for all the parts; BUT I can reuse the reson by regenerating it..
I also don't have to do this for around 1,000 gallons of water, so the cost is way lower.

5 out of 5 stars Mr. Clean Autodry De-Ionizing Water Filter   July 15, 2010
Mr. Clean Autodry De-Ionized water filter is the only way to go. I've used this product for five years and never been disatisfied. I typically drive black cars and wouldn't think of washing my cars without it. It gives me a spot free finish without the time spent on shammying after washing. I would definitly recommend this product to others.

5 out of 5 stars Great product   June 25, 2010

We use the MR. Clean Autodry car wash kit all the time. The water filter system is great, no towel drying needed. Leaves the car shiny and clean, no water spots.
The refill filters are impossible to find in stores.

4 out of 5 stars Better than I expected.   June 24, 2010

When this came out all I could see was another snake oil gimmick that's supposed to make Mr. Average Homeowner look like Mr. Hi-Tech Pro. But when the local CVS was selling the complete starter kit for 5 bucks...yeah, five...c'mon, what do I have to lose? The filter said it was good for about 3 average washes if I remember right, so with a Chevy Avalanche (without all the ugly plastic) I figured I might get 2. Nyah, it's just five bux! I use it according to the directions, then I rinse it, sometimes using my pressure washer, and once I have all the soap rinsed off I use the unit just to do a final rinse the way they say. The thing actually works fairly well. The water sheets off and, you know how dark colors are, the truck actually looks pretty good. I usually have to go around with a damp chammy to pick up a couple water drips and runs after it's dried but overall, it doesn't work too bad. What gets me is I've probably washed that truck 6 or 8 times and the filter still hasn't turned brown yet so I guess I have a couple more washes coming! I'll just say I think I got my 5 dollars worth.
